Furniture transport and setup
Sofas, beds, wardrobes, flat-pack drop-offs and shop collections. I'll help carry it in and put it where you want it, not just leave it at the door.
Student moves
Moving into halls, moving back home, or flat to flat. Quick, affordable and easy to book around your dates.
Business support
Regular help for local businesses who need a van and an extra pair of hands but don't run one themselves. I work this way with a wedding florist and a decorator, picking them up, loading their gear, helping set up on site and bringing everything back. Weddings and events
I look after florists and event suppliers from start to finish: collect from home, load the flowers and kit, help set up the venue, then come back, often the next day, to collect everything and return it. I've handled everything from country venues to building and taking elaborate wedding stages. LEZ compliant, so city-centre venues in Glasgow and Edinburgh are no problem.
Shop and auction collections
Bought something at a shop or at auction and can't get it home? I'll collect it and deliver it to your door.
Long-distance UK moves
Happy to take the long hauls. I've done London and Kent and back. Years of professional driving means your things travel safe, and there are two free passenger seats if you want to come along.
Two vans, two pairs of hands, when you need them.
For bigger jobs I team up with my colleague Mark. That means a second man for the heavy lifts, and the option of two vans so we can move more in one trip. A job that would take one van two hours can often be done in one with two vans, which keeps your bill down. If it's a genuine two-man lift, that's still a two-man price, but you'll never pay for trips we didn't need to make.

- No minimum and no maximum booking time. Every job is priced after a quick chat so you know where you stand before I set off.
- Long-distance jobs outside Glasgow are priced for the trip, just ask for a quote.
- Cleared furniture for the tip can be taken at an additional charge, at my discretion, depending on the type of waste.
A bit about me
I'm Kevin, and Glasgow West End Van Man is run by me. I've spent more than twenty years working with the public, in hospitality, in care work and as a painter and decorator, and most recently as a bus driver. All of it came down to the same thing: getting on with people and looking after them.
That bus driving background means I'm a careful, patient driver who stays calm whatever the traffic, knows how to handle a big vehicle in tight West End streets, and gets your things from A to B without a scratch. I started out helping my colleague Mark on jobs, enjoyed it, bought my own van and never looked back.
I turn up when I say I will, I treat your belongings like my own, and I make sure you're happy before I leave. Simple as that.
